  • Jingyao Yu - President

    Jingyao (she/her) is the Program Manager, Community Engagement at Resolve Philly and is passionate about elevating community voices and narratives. Jingyao has worked in the immigrant-serving nonprofit sector for a number of years prior to joining Resolve. As a long-time advocate and storyteller at heart, Jingyao helps raise visibility of communities often neglected or barred (intentionally and unintentionally) from a seat at the table. A transplant from Nebraska, she came to Philadelphia to pursue a graduate degree in public health at Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health.

  • Rhonda Saltzman - Vice President

    Rhonda is a classically trained chef turned baker and graduate of The Culinary Institute of America. She has a bachelors degree in culinary and hospitality management.She has worked in the Philly restaurant industry for 8 years in various roles. Pastry has always had a gravitational pull over her. Rhonda made the shift in her career because of her fascination with pastry. Mercedes' background is in customer service. Working in hospitality over the years, she has developed an expertise and vision outstanding guests experience. Her work extends beyond front of the house into a passion for creating new desserts items and baking. Within the first year of business, they were able to snag a Best of Philly for their brownies and a become Semi-finalists for outstanding baker by the James Beard foundation.

  • Alex Smith - secretary

    Alex (he/him) is a Philadelphia native seeking healing and peace through the struggle for economic and social liberation from exploitative systems. Alex lives a life of love through contributing to building community-owned infrastructure and mutual-aid resources, connecting with himself and the earth as a means to bring balance to the world around him, and creating conversations where there is complexity, to heal one another and be heard by one another. Alex has been involved with the cooperative economy for over a decade as a freelance developer and through movements such as Occupy Wall Street. Alex is an Afro-Indigenous Puerto Rican with a family history of over 120 years in Philadelphia that includes strong labor union roots. Alex believes social liberation can only be achieved through economic liberation.

  • Olin Morris - Treasurer

    Olin (he/him) is a Clinical Outreach Coordinator and Interventionist at Summit BHC/ St Joseph Institute for Addiction, serving as the first point of contact and liaison between people struggling with addiction/ mental health and chosen treatment centers. He is an active volunteer with Operation In My Back Yard/OPIMBY. Olin is also a current member of the CRC/Creative Resilience Collective, assisting with their mental and behavioral health research projects. Olin is an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Penn Charter High School and a veteran of the US Army. He has always been a passionate advocate for best practices and patient care in the mental and behavioral health industry.
